BSpPath (Hons), CPSP
Natasha graduated as a speech pathologist from Latrobe University in 2004 with first class Honours (having undertaken her Honours’ project investigating voice in Parkinson’s Disease). She has over 18 years’ experience as a Speech Pathologist in the acute, sub acute and rehabilitation settings and has always maintained a strong interest and expertise in voice and laryngology. Natasha first worked for our sister practice Voice Medicine Australia in 2006 for a few years then worked in London, Glasgow, & more recently Wellington, NZ where she was the Professional Leader of the Speech Language Therapy team at Wellington Hospital and also ran a private practice.
We have maintained a strong professional connection with Natasha and she has continued to provide online consultations for MVAC clientele across the years. We are thrilled she returned to Australia in 2019 to re-join our clinical team in person, as one of our highly experienced clinicians.
Natasha has great interest in a collaborative and multi-disciplinary approach to assessment and, along with her consultancy at Melbourne Voice Analysis Centre, works for Barwon Health as a Senior Speech Pathologist and Laryngology Lead and also has specific skills in treating all kinds of voices in both adult and paediatric clients including neurological voice conditions, transgender voice and performer’s voice. As well as being passionate about all things voice, Natasha has established great expertise in managing upper airway disorders such as chronic cough and vocal cord dysfunction and has worked closely with Respiratory physician colleagues. Natasha enjoys supervising and supporting other clinicians in the field of laryngology and thrives on bringing the best out of others and their voices!
